Suggest Points to popularize Solar Energy in INDIA

In recent times the world has been using renewable energy at high speeds. India is keen on points to popularize solar energy. It is also emerging in the international arena as a leading generator of renewable energy. In its effort to promote sustainable development, government has set a goal reach 175 GW of installed renewable energy capacity by the end of 2022. Apart from this, 100 GW is a standard indication for solar installation.

So far, 23 GW of this target has already been achieved and 40 GW is under various stages of implementation. This solar generation trend has allowed India to defeat the US and become the second largest country in terms of solar power in the world.

Now, the world is marching toward its 2022 target

Although large scale installations amount to 87% of solar energy, today the adoption rate of solar panels is fast. The installed capacity of the rooftop has been built from 117 MW to 1250 MW from the period 2013 to 2016. In taking this major boost, the National Solar Mission Of India’s Department of Renewable Energy and Energy has set a 40 GW energy goal for the solar roof by 2022.

Even though the target may seem desirable, it is still accessible. There are many reasons that extend the benefit of installing roof panels in buildings:

The main advantage of installing a roof deck is that they provide cost savings

Tax rates on rooftop solar compared to industrial and commercial property prices are 17% and 27% respectively. Rooftop solar installation also finds grid synchronization in many Indian residential sectors.

For homeowners, the installation of an electric roof can even help cut down electric bills.

Roof panels supply electricity to buildings, so they need to buy less electricity in the grid to save on energy costs. Electricity prices continue to fluctuate from time to time. Therefore, it is difficult to calculate the cost of electricity used over a period of time.

However, when it comes to electricity generated from solar rooftops, the price of generated energy can be easily calculated. In fact, one can calculate the cost of generating electricity for another 10 years. In this way, it is a safe investment. Although India’s energy shortages are rapidly declining, there are still many people in rural and urban areas, with poor access and unreliable electricity. These people are forced to rely on alternatives such as diesel fuel.

These other substances have detrimental effects on health and are flexible in their operating costs.

In such a case, solar energy acts as a cheap electricity source.

Since roof panels use solar energy to generate electricity, they have a good relationship. In addition, their operating costs are also stable. In order to encourage people to use solar energy, the government provides tax tools to those who install solar panels whether it is intended for residential or commercial use.

According to the Minister of Energy and Renewable Energy, the government pays 30% of the installation costs as a subsidy to the installer. Therefore, they pose less risk of environmental pollution compared to conventional energy sources. Unlike generators, they run without producing noise and emit a small amount of harmful gases.

Lower the carbon limit

Solar panels combine sunlight to generate electricity. Therefore, they pose less risk of environmental pollution compared to conventional energy sources. Unlike generators, they run without producing noise and emit a small amount of harmful gases. In addition, it is a good source of energy that fights against climate change. Therefore, the roof of the solar house is good as it lowers the carbon footprint.

Source of raw energy

This is the time when more and more people are embracing eco-friendly things. Consumers, especially industrial and commercial consumers, are willing to make more money to contribute to the environment. Customers who are environmentally friendly are willing to pay more for grid power.

Low maintenance costs

The main point to popularize, illustrates the importance of roofing to solar panels is that they require very little repairs. They come with a service life of over 20 years if properly maintained.

Ideal for Indian weather

Solar panels on the roof use sunlight to convert electricity into electricity. India is situated in an ideal geographical location and receives lots of hot sun. There are approximately 300 sunny days with clear skies each year in India. Therefore, the roof panels are ready to be used here.

Many applications for solar energy

Along with electricity generation, solar energy can meet many other purposes. It can be used to heat water and provide hot water or air to the building. It can also be used to run electric generators.

It requires no additional space for installation

One of the biggest benefits of a rooftop solar system is that it can be installed on any type of roof. Therefore, people do not have to leave the world or invest in buying additional land to set up a rooftop solar system. In addition, panels that provide protection to the roof of the building are installed.
